Summary: We liked the location which was close to the metro and a short walk across the bridge to Neuilly which we really like. However, we thought this was a poor 4 star hotel. - air conditioning in the room was poor which was not ideal when it was so hot over our stay - the safe in the room was broken - the hotel and room generally seemed in need of update - we stayed in this hotel many years ago and it does not appear to have changed since - reception staff seemed not interested, and certainly not welcoming. On arrival, 2 reception staff were sitting talking in a separate room - certainly not business from body language, after some time waiting they came out, no bonjour, no welcome, just a look as we had disturbed their conversation. I may be wrong but it seems this hotel is so full of large group tours, they forget the individual. - On leaving, reception again - wanted to charge a second time for city taxes which I had already paid on arrival. However, it was for me to prove I had paid so had to open my bank app to prove it - it seems they had problems with their IT systems which had not updated the payment - a minor but indicative point, 2 small paper cups in the room for tea / coffee.
